If you’re feeling a little lost about what I’m talking about, this challenge was begun by Jake Parker.

Or you can also refer to my previous post.

After the first week I realized that if I was going to try to do 31 ink sketches, I would need to limit myself in size & detail. So I chose a 3″ square post it note as my template.
![Inktober broken](https://i0.wp.com/terriheal.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/20161015_145544-300x300.jpg?resize=300%2C300)
So far this challenge had not broken me! I’ve done 15 out of 31, with a couple bonus sketches that I have done while out with the Victoria Urban Sketchers.

Off I get to the end successfully I think I may try to take on some other sketch challenges such as Every Day in May. There are of course many more such challenges with varied themes or prompt lists.

so much work done. Iยดm impressed. Liked most of it ๐
such a sad looking kitty
small is a good idea for inktober, more likely to finish everyday. really nice line work ๐
I love your cat sketch! What a marvelous expression
#sundaysketches
The kitty does not look happy at all, poor thing. LOVE your INKtober sketches! I also agree about keeping them small….mine are done in an A6 sketchbook. ๐
Wow Terri these are all amazing. Wonderful character and expressions.
